Fachrori Umar, M.Hum with PGNCOM president director, Dwika Agustianto signed cooperation in the form of a memorandum of understanding that was put together at the Jambi Smart Province National Seminar at the Jambi National School of Computer Science (STIKOM) Dinamika Bangsa, on Monday (29/04/2019 ).
Fachrori said that with the times, advances in information technology can also provide many positive benefits for the community, both in the city and in the countryside. Digital-based businesses can grow and develop as can be seen from the natural opening of business opportunities for the community, which is commonly referred to as a start-up business.
Advances in information technology are also predicted to help and change the paradigm of government towards cleaner and better governance.
The main director of PGNCOM, Dwika Agustianto said that the development and application of telecommunication information is a necessity. Not only will it give birth to economic and bridging aspects, security, education and government, social and community have also become a lifestyle for humans in the world. But with the development of the internet, the government needs to anticipate it by becoming a proactive, interactive, and participatory government that is supported by smart information.
On this occasion, PGNCOM's agreement was also signed with 5 universities in Jambi province regarding education, research, community service, and resource development, including with the National Dynamics of the Nation Stikom, Jambi University, Nurdin Hamzah STMIK, Jambi Adiwangsa University, AKAKOM.
The national seminar was attended by 500 participants consisting of students from universities in Jambi province, and also attended by Forkopimda, District/City Communications and Information Offices throughout Jambi Province, Chairperson of the Jambi Regional ICT Volunteers, and ICT Volunteers.
